What does the theatre mean to you?
To us, theatre is the place where we are entertained, stories are told; the past is relived; the future is imagined; our own stories unfold; and issues are stripped bare.
We need theatre to tell these stories, to enliven our passions and remind us of who we are.
Fundraising at the Baxter Theatre Centre is all about bringing this creativity to fruition through building links with corporate partners and friends with the aim of keeping our theatre a vibrant centre for the performing arts in Cape Town.
With the support of donors, large and small, we are able to assist performers, directors and writers in bringing their stories to our stages, and working with young people to develop our audience and performers of the future.
